Has anyone ever told you.....

time flies?

Well, it does.

Summer is a busy time for us. We celebrate everything except Shaun's birthday.

Shaun and I celebrate 6 years this week. 6 YEARS. Whew, we've heard if you can make it through the first 5 - your chances are good :)

He's amazing. I love our life together. God has been too good to me. I have an amazing, self-sacrificing, handsome, brilliant, godly, best friend.

I pray God continues to give Shaun direction for our family. Shaun has done so well - leading and teaching us about what it means to live a life pleasing to God and in complete surrender to whatever it may be God calls us to. I cannot imagine this life without Shaun on my team.

This is us on April 7, 2004. The night we got engaged.
We married July 24, 2004

And 2 years later - on July 28, 2006 - this little girl, Reagan Elaine, graced us with moments of joy and laughter we never knew would be so sweet.

She forever changed our lives.
She's almost 4.
Time FLIES!

And then - when we thought God had given our hearts peace that my belly would not bear a baby again - along came Hutch Payne. August 25, 2009. I think God just wanted us to rest in Him - and trust him.

Oh, how my heart sings with joy over the miracle he is.
God is gracious.
He's almost 1.
Time FLIES.

And in November....

Baby girl will show her face.
She's #3 - and we're still in shock.
Again, God is gracious.

My eyes fill with tears even now as I type this.
Thanking God for every moment I have with them.
Praying that somehow
- by the grace of God -
we will not mess up this blessing of opportunity
God has given us to raise disciples for Him.

I'm so thrilled they look like their daddy....

I just hope they have his heart of gold too.

I tell him often, but I should tell him more...
He's a good man.
He's my hero and I don't deserve him.

Thank you, Lord for the blessing of Husbands who lead and children to love.
